2023 Fall Mini Session Booking Has Begun: What to Expect this Season!

My fall family sessions have been released, and here’s a brief summary of what to expect from the session offerings this year.

This year I’m offering, not one, not two, but THREE options for fall mini sessions.

There will be Beach Mini Sessions in September, Fall Foliage Mini Sessions in October, and Tree Farm Mini Sessions in November.

September Beach Mini sessions are happening for the first time ever, and I couldn’t be more excited! They will take place just one day only at the beautiful Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, CT on Saturday, September 23. These sessions are $375 and a deposit of $100 is required to book your spot.

October Fall Mini Sessions will take place on Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7 at Richardson Park in Ridgefield. These sessions are 20 minutes long, from which you’ll get a gallery to select five final images, with an option to upgrade if you’d like the full gallery. The fee for these sessions is $350 and a deposit of $100 will be required at booking to secure your spot.

November Christmas Tree Mini Sessions will take place on November 10 and November 11 at Bob’s Tree Farm in Bethel. Just like for the Fall Foliage sessions, Christmas Tree minis are 20 minutes long, from which you’ll get a gallery to select five final images, with an option to upgrade if you’d like the full gallery. The fee for these sessions is $350 and a deposit of $100 will be required at booking to secure your spot.

How to Prepare

Because mini sessions will be limited and are done back to back at a pre-selected location, it is pretty crucial to be on time. If you’re late - even for a TOTALLY understandable reason - it will eat into your limited session time, just because there are other appointments behind you. I would hate for that to happen, so my best advice is to plan to arrive 10 minutes early so that you and your crew are ready to go for your time slot, and so that we can make the most of our minutes together!

Hair or makeup recommendations? I’ve got ‘em! While you may not want or need them, I have some FANTASTIC local professionals that I highly recommend and anything that makes you feel more confident and camera ready is a good idea. I especially love Amanda and Jen.

I will offer rain dates if in the off chance we need to reschedule for weather. However, these dates will be limited due to the short nature of fall/foliage. If you cannot make one of the offered rain dates and need to cancel, not to worry! We can apply your deposit to a future session within the next six months.
